Description
RSSB seeks to procure research to ascertain the air quality onboard different types of rolling stock while they are in operation. To achieve this aim, T1382 seeks to address the following research objectives: •Expand the rail industry's understanding of onboard air quality, covering train classes not previously tested, including different traction types •Establish the impact of the interventions made to Class 80x trains •Assess the viability of using handheld air quality monitoring devices for onboard air quality spot-checking in the future
