Bergen Municipality, the Agency for Development, hereby invites tenderers to a competition for a contract for a construction manager and SHA-KU in the K0280 Danckert Krohn Renovation and Alterations project. This assignment includes both construction management and the SHA coordinator function for execution (KU). The construction manager assignment will start in approx. September 2020 with a quality assurance review of the tender documentation for the contract procurement. The actual renovation project will not start before the beginning of 2021 and it will last for approx. 1 ½ years. The project is planned as a general contract, so the construction management will not be responsible for progress planning, thus the same person can have both assignments. The renovation project for the arts centre Danckert Krohn involves aligning the north wing after settling damage, upgrading both wings with better insulation on the outer walls, aligning the floors, repairing windows and outside door and improving the roof and facades. All the existing fixtures on level 2 are to be demolished and replaced with new fixtures, and all the technical infrastructure in the building is to be disassembled and replaced with new modern installations. In addition, ventilation, sprinkler installations and a new water supply are to be established. All the pipes in the ground outside are to be replaced. The shed is to be demolished and a smaller version rebuilt. Surface water measures must also be carried out on the property.
