Description

To provide a fully managed service for the collection and disposal of Hazardous and General Waste for the National Armaments Directorate within the Ministry of Defence as well as for certain Declarers at other UK locations. The service will primarily cover Great Britain, with occasional collections in Northern Ireland. This will be a fully managed service. It will include administration and a customer interface delivering a compliant and cost-effective solution. The service scope includes supplying appropriate storage media for waste collection, transportation, storage prior to disposal and final disposal of waste. Types of waste to be managed include, but are not limited to: Hazardous Waste: contaminated rags, sludge, contaminated water and oil, solvents, clinical and dental waste, pharmaceutical waste, and POPs waste. General Waste: wood, paper, plastic and tyres.
