TENDER SUBMISSIONS Tenders must be submitted via the electronic post-box available through this e-tenders contract notice. Only tenders submitted to the electronic post-box will be accepted. The e-Tenders electronic post-box facility closes at the stated date and time precisely. Tenderers must ensure that they give themselves sufficient time to upload and submit all required documentation onto the e-Tenders post-box facility before the receipt of tender deadline. SUITABILITY ASSESSMENT CRITERIA The suitability assessment for this tender competition will be based on the QW2 Suitability Assessment Questionnaire and associated supplements and appendices included with the tender documents. The purpose of the questionnaire is to obtain the information on which to base a suitability assessment so as to establish if the tenderer meets the minimum criteria and if they should go forward to evaluation for the award of the works contract. AWARD CRITERIA The award criterion for this tender competition is the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), the assessment of the MEAT will be made on the basis of the award criteria included in the particulars of the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT) document. The award criterion MEAT for this competition is based on a Price/Quality ratio of (75% / 25%). The assessment of the Price aspect of the award criteria will be based on the Comparative Cost of Tender as described in section 9.5 and 9.6 of the ITT document using Appendix 5 of ITT document which will equate to 75% or 750 maximum marks available. The assessment of the Quality Aspect of the award criteria will be based on the Technical Merit as detailed in Appendix 6 of the ITT document with marks allocated as described in section 9.6 of the ITT document which will equate to 25% or 250 maximum marks available.
