Description
Following a decision in the Danish Parliament June 2020 Denmark is on the path to establish off-shore energy infrastructure in the Danish North Sea and in the Danish Baltic Sea to connect offshore wind energy to the Danish mainland and to neighbouring countries via offshore energy hubs, called Energy islands. The current tender concern consultancy services regarding technical requirements to improve mul-ti-vendor multi-terminal HVDC interoperability for the Baltic Sea Energy Island project. Lot 1: Scope A: Model and simulation requirements Scope A comprise the following tasks: 1. Perform a gap-analysis of Energinets previous project specifications (e.g. Viking Link and Kriegers Flak CGS), in combination with the national Danish imple-mentations of the NC DC and NC RfG, and suggest changes and modifications to accommodate the Energy Island needs and the multi-vendor environment. 2. Facilitate project meetings to identify the project needs as well as Energinets position on the topics listed under Scope of Services, Section 2.1. 3. Develop and draft a set of key documents to be used directly in the tendering of the Bornholm Energy Island based on a combination of expert advice and Energinets requirements. The primary focus is the HVDC tendering material, but this must take into account the requirements for the offshore wind power plants, and how these systems are integrated into the overall detailed design and commissioning process. Lot 2: Scope B: Technical Requirements Scope B comprise the following tasks: 1. Review of Energinets previous technical specifications for point-to-point HVDC links and describe the gap between these and the technical specifications for a multi-terminal HVDC grid. 2. Propose and describe a DC busbar configuration and a protection strategy that can fulfil defined requirements from the connected AC grids. This work shall be based on earlier studies within NSWPH consortium. 3. Propose and describe requirements for the master controller needed for controlling the multi-terminal HVDC grid and the offshore AC grid. 4. Identify and describe the interfaces between the different manufacturers and deliveries
