Description
The University of Southampton has a legal obligation to provide eyesight tests, on request, to all current or new DSE (Display Screen Equipment) users. <br />The University of Southampton will pay for a maximum of one sight test every two years for all DSE users on request.<br />The University of Southampton will pay for basic frames and lenses for staff who specifically require them for DSE use only.<br />Additionally, The University of Southampton will pay for basic prescription safety glasses (BS EN166) if identified as a need through risk assessment.
