Overview of the Project Being Procured The procurement is seeking to appoint a single specialist supplier to deliver Stages 2 and 3 of the Low Risk Gate 2 Strategy Paper-P698 Sustainable Challenge, formally known as the Sustainable City Charter (SCC) Innovation Challenge. Purpose The Challenge is designed to connect near-market low-carbon SMEs with Sustainable City Charter signatories (businesses and organisations operating in Westminster) to develop and pilot innovative solutions that reduce carbon emissions from non-domestic buildings. Non-domestic buildings account for approximately 71% of Westminster's greenhouse gas emissions, making this a key climate-related intervention. What the Supplier Will Deliver The appointed supplier will be responsible for: - Designing and managing the Innovation Challenge. - Recruiting and selecting participating SMEs and SCC signatories. - Matching SMEs with suitable host organisations. - Administering a grant scheme and overseeing pilot projects. - Monitoring performance and evaluating outcomes. - Producing case studies, pilot reports and a final evaluation report. - Delivering a "Demo Day" to showcase findings and support wider adoption of successful solutions.
