Summary of the work SIB's AMU supports property asset management activities across central government in NI. AMU has been tasked with promoting asset management processes that unlock value. In 2018/19 AMU will undertake work to progress data enabled and system based solutions that reduce fragmentation and unlock value across the central government estate. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 2 years (resource will be required on an adhoc or casual basis over this period) Latest start date Monday 10 September 2018 Maximum Day Rate £875 Early Market Engagement Not applicable. Who Speclialist Work With The individual(s) appointed will work with a variety of property professionals, representatives from Ordinance Survey NI, Land & Property Services NI, DoF Enterprise Shared Services and the Northern Ireland Statistical Research Agency. What Specialists Work On Support discovery activities relating to data fragmentation issues. Research good practice. Explore data interoperability issues. Develop reports. Analyse system functionality. Support the development of various asset management initiatives such as requirements, utilisation, meanwhile use , adoption of Pointer Ref etc. Provide support to the LPS OSCAR system (SharePoint enabled). NOTE: The value of the commission will not exceed £30,000 inclusive of VAT and award is no guarantee of any work. Skills & Experience • Demonstrable experience in working closely with public sector Clients in Northern Ireland researching and analysing opportunities to use data and systems to deliver efficiencies. • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing SharePoint based solutions to deliver digital enablement and process improvements • Developing and presenting option papers setting out options for the Client along with pros and cons, risks and issues and cost implications • Demonstrable experience in developing prototypes in compliance with the NICS security policy framework and web standards • Experience of working with NI ESS ICT shared services • Experience of working with NI LPS Work Location The supplier will be co-located with Land and Property Services and OSNI at Lanyon Plaza Belfast Working Arrangments Onsite up to 5 days a week, working in a team setting.
