Description

The University has recognized the importance to provide researchers and students with cutting-edge equipment that enables accurate characterization of polymers thermal properties for applications such as biomedical, biomaterials, manufacturing, and microfluidics, pharmaceutical, food packaging, etc. Therefore, through the UKRI Research Capital Investment Fund (RCIF) it is the University intends to purchase one Differential Scanning Calorimeter with Ultraviolet (UV) capabilities (also called photo-DSC) and respective Software. This equipment will be housed in the Biomaterials Laboratory in the Stephenson Building within the School of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering. The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery and installation of the equipment detailed in the ITT to the University, with after-sales support and 5 years warranty and maintenance.
