Description

Andøy kommune (Andøy municipality) will build new sheltered accommodation flats in connection with the existing health centre at Andenes. The building will be designed and built as a passive house. The sheltered accommodation flats will be dimensioned for 22 residents and approx. 8-12 employees and associated functional areas. The project is anticipated to be approx. 1 700 m2 net area building mass. The site is approx. 1 100 m2. The idea is that the building will be connected to the current health centre by a Walkway on the 2nd floor over the access road. Outdoor areas, roads and parking spaces are also included in the assignment, along with the design of the sensory garden on the opposite side of the existing building. Likewise, sprinklers and extinguishing water with regard to pressure and capacity in connection with fire engineering will be clarified in this phase. Requirements set by Husbanken must also be taken into consideration, including universal solutions, welfare technology etc. so that the municipality is able to get grants for the construction of the building. Andøy municipality has prepared a room program that forms the basis of the project.
