Enhanced Services - Optometry (Glossop)

Description

Services provided by Glossop based Community Optometrists specifically relating to Glaucoma Repeat Readings, Glaucoma Enhanced Referral Service, and Enhanced Cataract Service. Provided within Glossop Optometry practices with aims to reduce impacts on Hospital Eye Services, ensures continuity of provision and treats patients closer to home. Lot 1: To provide a Glaucoma Repeat Readings Services, Glaucoma Enhanced Referral Service, and Post Operative Cataract Follow up. NHS Derby & Derbyshire ICB are intending to award the contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C. The approximate activity will be GRR/GERS 194, Enhanced Cataract 132, Post-Op Cataract 313 consultations. This is an existing service intended to award to an existing provider until 31 March 2028.
