The objective of this research is to understand the attitudes and behaviors of the British Council’s primary arts and culture audiences with a focus on the key markets: South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal and Nigeria. <br /><br />This research uses mixed methodology and cross-referencing online survey data with in-depth participant interviewing (what motivations). The insights that come from this research should be applied to the development of recommendations for audience engagement with the sector.<br />
