Description
The Authority intends to renew contract CSA/3049 from 1 July 2027 with Ultra Electronics Command and Sonar Systems for in-service support of PDM systems. Equipment managed includes PDM/INA outfits fitted to Type 23 Frigates (PDM2), Single Role Minehunter (PDM3), Vanguard Class Submarines (PDM4) and Fort Victoria (RFA) (PDM5). The PDM system receives inputs from platform navigation sensors and outputs data to navigation and weapon systems. The planned duration is 8.5 years (July 2027 to Dec 2035) with two 1-year options. Estimated value £20M inc VAT. Only the supplier can deliver this requirement within the timeframe without risk to RN operations. ## Contract award Title: In-Service Support of Platform Data Management Systems
