Bedding packages for asylum seekers

UDI wants to enter into a framework agreement for purchase of Bedding Packages for newly arrived asylum seekers. UDI [the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration] offers asylum seekers in Norway accommodation and necessary subsistence until this offer is dropped. Asylum seekers in Norway are offered accommodation at asylum reception centres, and among the services offered for necessary subsistence are bedding packages. Lot 1: The number of bedding packages will vary depending on the asylum arrivals. According to estimates of ordinary asylum seekers to Norway in 2021 and 2022, the space of opportunity for 2022 is considered to be between 1,000 and 5,000 asylum seekers, with a planning figure of 3,000. Suppliers can use a corresponding prognosis for 2023. All newly arrived asylum seekers must receive a bedding package each. There is currently no arrival prognosis for the years 2023 and further. The supplier will have the exclusive right to supply bedding packages in accordance with this contract. The contracting authority wants prices for bedding packages for adults, children and infants. In addition, prices are wanted for purchase of mattresses with flame-retardant covers. The mattresses at the National arrivals centre will be replaced and this is the reason to purchase approximately 400 mattresses in total during the period of the framework agreement.
