Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (‘RAAC’) removal

Description

Removal of internal RAAC roof/ceiling panels and installation of new plasterboard ceiling. (Note: concrete tile pitched roof subsequently installed over original RAAC flat roof panels). Lot 1: Generally, the works comprise of the following: - Protection of existing buildings and all fixtures and fittings. - Removal of singular defective RAAC roof panels (circa 3-5m span/length) around loft hatches with insufficient end bearing support. - Removal of all RAAC roof panels (circa 3-5m span/length) with excessive RAAC panel deflection recorded. - Install new plasterboard ceilings in lieu of RAAC panels removed. - Supply and fit proprietary loft hatch within new plasterboard ceiling. - Decorate plasterboard to match existing
