AI governance is a cornerstone of safe, ethical, and responsible AI adoption. However,governance structures across NHS Wales bodies lack standardisation and lack alignment withglobally recognised standards such as ISO/IEC.Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure the services of a suitably capable and experiencedprovider (the successful supplier) to:- Assess and map existing governance structures within each NHS Wales body;- Review and map governance routes for AI innovation projects; and- Develop a roadmap for standardised and robust AI governance across NHS Wales.Life Sciences Hub Wales requires a comprehensive review of existing AI governance systemswithin each NHS Wales body, mapping current governance routes for AI-related initiatives, andidentifying gaps and inconsistencies.
