The Termination of Pregnancy Service is a compassionate and confidential healthcare service designed to support individuals facing unplanned or challenging pregnancies. The services encompass a range of options, including counselling on reproductive choices, medical assessments, and access to safe and legal termination procedures. The service prioritises the well-being and autonomy of service users, offering a supportive and understanding environment throughout the decision-making process and striving to empower individuals to make informed choices about their reproductive health, promoting dignity and confidentiality. The ICB is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C, where the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed new contract, and the contract is not changing considerably, and the test for considerable change is not met. This is an activity x price contract with an indicative value of £3m. The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are: 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027.
