SRO upgrade and maintenance at Esbjerg Power Plant

Ørsted Bioenergy & Thermal Power A/S intends to award ABB A/S a Project Agreement without prior publication of a contract. The contract covers upgrading and maintenance of existing ABB’s 800xA and Melody & Symphony Plus Control systems installed at Esbjerg Power Plant related to the final decision from the Danish Energy Agency to continue the operations of ESV3 after 1st of April 2023. Lot 1: The contract covers the following services: - 800xA Software upgrade and new licenses - Security: Update of Window environment and patch management - New hardware for servers and clients - Control system update of firmware maintenance - Data back-up and restore From Feb. 23 – Oct. 2023 The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reasons: • Protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights by licensing system
