DCU-Electrical Arbitrary Waveform Generator & Frequency Extension module

Published

Supplier(s)

Microlease Plc, Microlease Plc

Description

Specification Overview Lot 1 The electrical arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) required is a piece of electronic test equipment used to generate electrical waveforms which can be either repetitive or single-shot. The resulting waveforms will be typically data signals which are used for testing high speed RF and optical communication systems. Lot 2 The Frequency Extension Module is used to expand existing microwave Signal Generator capabilities to conduct measurements from 40 - 500GHz. The frequency extension module should easily connect to the output of the signal generators in the laboratory in DCU where we have both Agilent and Rohde and Schwarz generators operating upto 67GHz and 40 GHz respectively. The output from the Frequency Extension Module can then be used to test various high frequency devices and systems and our specific requirements are related to testing in the 230 to 300GHz range.
