Which phase the project is in Live Existing team The existing team consists of a Project Manager, a Day to Day project lead and 2 project members. The successful bidder would also be expected to work with several existing suppliers who look after other aspects of the projects. Address where the work will be done The DfE project team will be based in Cheylesmore House, Quinton Road, Coventry, CV1 2WT Working arrangements The supplier staff will need to be available during core office hours (Mon-Fri 9-5) as so to support the project delivery team. There is no expectation that supplier staff will be required to work from Government Offices, although face to face meetings may be hosted at one of our DfE offices as required. This will be agreed with the successful supplier when appropriate. Funding of £100,000 ex VAT has been secured for the 1st year with an additional £10,000 contingency allowance. Confirm if you require a contracted out service or supply of resource Contracted out service: the off-payroll rules do not apply Summary of work The National Apprenticeship Awards project team requires a supplier to develop, run and support the National Apprenticeship Awards application website and National Apprenticeship Week landing pages. Where the supplied staff will work No specific location (for example they can work remotely) Who the organisation using the products or services is Department for Education Why the work is being done The National Apprenticeship Awards and National Apprenticeship Week is intented to provide a platform to promote excellence in apprenticeships and technical education. The current offering sits across 2 main URLs: appawards.co.uk or naw.appawards.co.uk. We would like to see this solidified into a single web page to improve user journey between the 2 projects. The business problem you need to solve For the National Apprenticeship Awards, we need to improve the user journey of applicants, encourage new applicants to apply for the awards and provide a platform to show best practise. For the National Apprenticeship Week, we need a central location to host various downloadable assets and and interactive events map. The website will be the heart of the Weeks activity. First user type: 4 Key Users: Enter more details about this user type: As an awards applicant, I need to be able to see the categories available to apply for, submit my application and receive updates on the progress of my application. As a judge, I need to be able to receive the submitted applications in a secure portal and enter my scores online. As a moderator, I need to be able to assess the applications and enter a ranking online. As a visitor to the National Apprenticeship Week content, I need to be able to download assets, find further information and enter my event onto the map.
