LFR Mobile Data Terminal software support

Description

Support for Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) software, including provision of licences to use the incumbent Lampada MDT software. This Direct Award is made in order to ensure short term operational continuity of support of existing Critical Infrastructure during the procurement and mobilisation period of a long term contract to deliver a new MDT solution. Given the type and age of solution there are limited support options available, hence the Council requires the Incumbent Arrangement to be extended on a short-term basis pending procurement and implementation of a new solution. The services are limited to licencing, support and maintenance only, no additional deliverables or system changes are being procured, and the service management plans and existing operational arrangements remain unchanged. As the estimated contract value exceeds the £30,000 threshold for notifiable below‑threshold contracts, a Contract Details Notice was required under section 87 of the Procurement Act 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024. The contract is below the public contract thresholds, and therefore no Transparency Notice or standstill period applies. Prices showing are inclusive of VAT. ## Contract award
