Description
The purpose of the Contract is to salvage the crashed MV-22 Osprey in Gråtadalen, Beiarn. The operation involves salvage of aircraft components, packaging of the aircraft components and delivery of the aircraft components to the storage hangar at Bodø Airbase. The operation also involves remediation of crash site to comply with Norwegianenvironmental regulatory and statutory requirements. Lot 1: The operation of salvaging the MV-22 Osprey in Gråtadalen, Beiarn, consists of the four following phases: 1. Site salvage 2. External airlift of salvaged aircraft components to intermediate staging site 3. Onload and transit of salvaged parts from intermediate staging site to Bodø airbase storage hangar 4. Site environmental remediation.
