he Council wishes to procure the following the following work: Deliver a revitalised Kendal Market Hall that meets the following objectives: • Create a destination that attracts people back into the town centre and Market Hall, increasing footfall, dwell time, and repeat visits. • Strengthen the town's identity and support increased local pride. • Deliver a high-quality, attractive, and diverse Market Hall that supports local businesses, serves residents, and appeals to visitors. • Enhance the cultural offer by providing suitable and flexible space for events and activities. • Improve connectivity between the indoor Market Hall and the outdoor Market Place to create a seamless flow of footfall and a complementary market offer. • Support the aspirations of the Kendal Vision, championing the town centre, improving placemaking and fostering a stronger sense of community
