Education and training services

Description

A service targeted towards young people in Salford aged 16 to 24 years old, who are either NEET or at risk of becoming NEET and are in need of additional and/or specialist support to continue their participation in appropriate education, employment or training. The service will help to address gaps in the local offer by providing dedicated support to young people that are NEET and either not in receipt of, or eligible to claim, an out-of work benefit. The service will also support young people who are deemed to be at risk of having their benefit sanctioned and/or who may have an involvement with Salford's Troubled Families (‘Helping Families’) programme. This is a procurement exercise to award a single contract for provision of the service.
