Bád Inis Oírr invites tenders for the supply and commissioning of a 10 to 12 Metre Passenger Boat preferably licensed (or suitable for licensing) by the Department of Transport (Mercantile Marine Office) under a P5 Passenger License, certified to carry up to 12 passengers and 1 skipper. The boat is intended for passenger operation within Galway Bay. The boat must include a reliable inboard diesel engine, fuel-efficient operation including low emissions, optimized cruising speed for commercial passenger service, excellent maneuverability for harbor operations with full safety and navigation equipment. Quotation to include delivery to Ros a Mhíl Harbour. AWARD PROCESS The contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous proposal the Contracting Authority considers having most closely met the requirements for the contract assessed on the basis of the following Award Criteria: 1. Cost: assessed based on Fixed EX VAT Price in the completed Form of Tender 40 marks 2. Product Specification match /Suitability: assessed based on meeting the specification of requirements as outlined above 60 marks Total 100 marks Quotes must demonstrate how they meet all of the above criteria in their quote submission in order to enable the awarding authority to assess fully the extent of their offers.
