Description
To better support the industry UKBIC is considering investment in additional cell assembly lines such as for tab-less cylindrical cells and prismatic cells. A pre-requisite for doing this is to have well developed cell designs with which UKBIC can engage with potential equipment suppliers and so this is the purpose of this “Cell Assembly Enabler” project. The cell designs being considered have been split into two lots and bidders are invited to submit tenders for either or both lots according to their experience and expertise. Lot 1: Tab-less cylindrical cell Lot 2: Prismatic cell with single-sided terminals and Prismatic cell with opposed terminal Keywords: Study, Design, Research, Battery, Cell, Cylindrical
