Description

NDLA shall be internationalised through this project. In order to develop good digital teaching aids for sixth form education and to realise a Global Digital Library (GDL) together with our international partners, NDLA needs to join up with good suppliers of technical development services. This competition is for framework agreements for the development of the following competence/service areas. — Development of a framework for inter-activities — H5P or equivalent. — UX/user experience, front-end development and design based on Java and Javascript. — Technical architecture, system and delivery manager, roll-out and scaling of the operating environment. See Annex 1 — The Contracting Authority's Requirement Specifications for details on what is included in ‘development’. — Development of components for inter-activities. — Design and development of new types of content. — Development of a separate micro-service for inter-activities and content. — Development work connected to both existing applications and new development. — Development based on REACT, which is an open-source JavaScript library. — Implementation of UX, including: Navigation, information structure, content adaptation and presentation, inter-activities and graphical design in client-side components that shall be exposed to different final user groups. — Implementation of universal design for the design and development of new and existing systems. — Authentication, cashing, indexing and searches. — Responsible for the systems meeting business needs connected to GDL, both in the short and long term. — Independent advice for NDLA on planning and carrying out development assignments. — Design and development of architecture. — Development of APIs connected to subject content. — Development of functionality to consume external APIs. — Taxonomy and data structuring competence that can contribute to organising and designing information structures, taxonomies, organising content marking and concepts for making content available on searches (internal and external), LMSs and other learning systems, adaptive learning systems, as well as our own navigation and viewing logic. — GDL shall be developed and run on Amazon AWS or an equivalent service. There will be a need for assistance with the implementation and management of this framework during the project period. See the information in Annex 1.
