Immersive Theater Installation and Exhibition Alterations

Description

The Scottish Seabird Centre (SSC) seeks to appoint suitably qualified contractor(s) to deliver exhibition alterations, visitor experience improvements and a new immersive theater installation. The procurement is divided into two lots comprising base build works and audio visual design and installation. Lot 2: Lot 2: Immersive Theater Audio Visual Installation Lot 2: Immersive Theater Audio Visual Installation The contract comprises the design, supply, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of the audio visual systems required to deliver the immersive theater. The successful Contractor will coordinate with the Lot 1 Contractor to ensure full integration of all systems within the completed shell and exhibition environment. Lot 1: Lot 1: Exhibition Alterations and Immersive Theater Shell Construction Lot 1: Exhibition Alterations and Immersive Theater Shell Construction (Stage 3-6) The contract comprises the design and construction of exhibition alterations, installation of a new exhibition display, construction of an immersive theater shell and associated building fabric, mechanical and electrical services modifications. The successful Contractor shall act as both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and shall be responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the construction phase, including coordination and integration of a separately appointed Audio Visual Contractor.
