North Northamptonshire Council Refurbishment of Autumn Day Centre, Corby

North Northamptonshire Council (here after referred to as 'the Council) are looking to procure a principal contractor to undertake a range of refurbishment works required at a Public Health dementia facility. As the centre is dated and in need of modernisation, the Council have engaged with a specialist architect to develop the design and reconfiguration with a focus on a dementia friendly environment. The key areas of focus include improving overall layout, including accessibility and areas of movement whilst applying dementia-friendly design principles. Other upgrades include reconfiguration works, modernising the utilities, improving lighting and installing safety features such as non-slip flooring and additional handrails. The Council are undertaking this procurement on behalf of Public Health, the University of Northampton and the Autumn Centre. Keywords: Refurbishment
