Design, Construction and Installation of Playgrounds and Recreation Facilities in County Kildare.

Kildare County Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for the design construction and installation of playgrounds and recreation facilities in County Kildare. The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. Examples of project works required may include but are not limited to any of the following: • Design, supply and installation of playground equipment • Design, Construction and installation of play landscapes, natural play features and associated works. • Design, Construction and installation of canopies/shelters footpaths, drainage, signage, boundary treatment and minor civil engineering works. • Any works required to facilitate the installation of ducting/services routes/equipment cabinets etc. or relocation of services adjacent to the playground. • Construction and installation of associated hard and soft landscape features • Design, supply and installation of multi-use games areas, teen spaces, callisthenics parks, parkour facilities, age-friendly sports facilities, exercise equipment, ball walls, skateparks (wheel parks), pump tracks, BMX tracks, bike trails, ball courts, sports and recreational facilities, playground surfacing (wet pour, tiger mulch, engineered woodchips, etc…), line markings (courts, and other sports markings). In response to the first publication of the contract notice to participate in the DPS the CA will require 60 days for examination of requests to participate in the DPS.
