Parks Infrastructure Safety Improvements – Fences, Railings & Walls (2025–2028)

Description

The London Borough of Hackney is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake reactive and planned improvement works to fences, walls, and railings within the borough’s parks and green spaces. The works will involve inspection, repair, replacement, and associated minor civil works to ensure the safety and structural integrity of existing park infrastructure. The contract will run for three years with an estimated total value of up to £600,000 (excluding VAT), based on annual budget allocations. Please note: the total value stated is indicative only; spend and volume of works are not guaranteed and will depend on available funding and priorities set each year. The procurement will follow an open procedure under the Procurement Act 2023. Interested contractors must demonstrate relevant technical experience, financial stability, and the capacity to deliver works in public open spaces.
