Extension of the Kenn Hedge Footpath

Description

The scope of work is to construct a new gravel footpath in Compartment 6 of Trendlewood Community Park, Nailsea. The route goes south-west to north-east to Lodge Lane, as an extension to the existing gravel footpath and with shorter connecting sections linking the new path to the adjacent housing estates. The route is a Public Right of Way (LA13/34/60). Trendlewood Park is a community park open to the public, the majority of the route being across open grassland, with 60 metres through woodland at the northern end Lot 1: For sections 1 to 5 of the footpath: i. Excavate out soil and dispose of ii. Lay Geotextile membrane iii. Lay 100 x 50 mm. wooden edgings iv. Lay 250 mm. of Type 1 stone v. Lay 25 mm. of 3 mm. dust For section 6 only: i. Lay 250 mm. of Type 1 stone over rocks and tree roots to create level surface ii. Lay 25 mm. of 3 mm. dust
