Description

The background for the procurement is the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's plans for a new Sotra Connection between Bergen and Fjell municipalities and the need to free-up areas for the new road. The existing high-voltage cables (aerial cables) are to be replaced with cables that go through cable tunnels, and under the bridge. The relaying includes the 132 kV Breivik-Litlesotra and 300 kV Fana-Litlesotra cables on the stretch between Breivik and Litlesotra transformer station. In order to cross the fjord, the cables must be laid in cable tunnels under the existing Sotra bridge. This contract is for work that shall be carried out on the existing Sotra bridge. Tender contests have previously been published for the delivery and laying of cable, as well as a previously published tender contest for the construction of cable tunnels and shafts on both sides of the Sotra Bridge. The contract includes works for the Sotra Bridge: Parts of the truss on the Sotra Bridge shall be subject to surface finishing. The contract also includes the production and installation of cable channels for high voltage cables. Supporting beams shall be produced and assembled. In addition the contract also includes other disciplines. Form of contract is performance contracting. The contract type is unit price contract.
