Description

This is a second market engagement notice related to General Building Maintenance Framework (ID: ocds-h6vhtk-05cc1a) to invite interested supplier to engagement events for the framework opportunity. Monmouthshire County Council are proposing the establishment of a collaborative multi lot framework agreement to deliver general building maintenance and repair works to the non-domestic property portfolios across 5 authorities. The framework will cover multiple disciplines to include; general building works, electrical and mechanical works, fire & security, external groundworks, roofing, emergency call outs. Suppliers should note that the framework will now include statutory obligations as part of the scope. The framework is to be delivered under geographically defined lots on behalf of the following Authorities: Monmouth, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. It is anticipated that the framework start date will be 1st July 2026 (please note this date may be subject to changes) for a period of 3 years with a further 1 year extension (A maximum total of 4 years). The anticipated value of the overall framework is circa £230 million over the full 4 year term. The Sessions will be as follows: Monday 24th November 2025 from 10am to 12:00pm – for the Vale of Glamorgan. This will be a face to face event being held in the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry, CF634RU. This session will provide an overview of anticipated works pipeline and scopes of work for the Vale of Glamorgan geographical lots. Wednesday 12th November 2025 from 9.30am to 11.30am – for Monmouth, Torfaen and Blaenau. This will be a Teams event (an invite will be issued prior to the event). This session will provide an overview of anticipated works pipeline and scopes of work for Monmouth, Torfaen and Blaenau Councils geographical lots Thursday 13th November 2025 from 8am to 1030am – for Cardiff Council. This will be a face to face event being held in the Flying Start Conference Centre, Eastmoors Road, Cardiff, CF24 5RR. This session will provide an overview anticipated works pipeline and scopes of work for Cardiff Council geographical lots. The sessions will include further details of the lotting structures, and procurement process including Social Value, evaluation criteria and professional requirements to help you in your bid preparation. We will make any slides and additional information from these sessions available should you not be able to attend.
