The overall aim of the service is to provide non-clinical consistent, highly responsive, personalised and emotional support to people in Havering with a diagnosis of dementia and their carers. The service will provide this through the provision of information to promote self-help; provide awareness and advice, signpost to other services and offer peer support to dementia patients and their carers.
