PLEASE READ MAIN TENDER DOCUMENT-FULL DETAILS DIAS seeks to purchase a number of 3-component seismometers and data loggers suitable for regional seismic monitoring. The equipment will be used for the installation of new permanent INSN stations and to upgrade existing stations. A detailed specification of requirements is set out in Section 2 of the the main tender document.Tenders must comply with the format of tender as set out in Section 3of that. Further, as dataloggers are a critical part of the network and to ensure compatibility with our operation DIAS will require for Lots 2a/b one demonstration unit and access to any required software for a period of up to 4 weeks as part of the selection process. For any proposed digital posthole seismometer (Lot 1a) one demonstration unit will also be required. As can be seen from Section 2 of the tender document we are looking for quotations for two quantities of dataloggers and quotations for three types of seismometers, Lot 1a) 2 digital posthole seismometers that are robust, stainless-steel and waterproof to at least IP68 standard and suitable for a permanent regional seismic network and installation without hole-locks in a shallow un-cased borehole, Lot 1b) 2 analogue posthole seismometers that are robust, stainless-steel and waterproof to at least IP68 standard and suitable for a permanent regional seismic network and installation without hole-locks in a shallow un-cased borehole, Lot 1c) 2 analogue surface seismometers that are suitable for a permanent regional seismic network, Lot 2a) 8 dataloggers with 3 or more primary channels and that are suitable for use with both broad-band and short-period seismometers, Lot 2b) 10 dataloggers with 3 or more primary channels and that are suitable for use with both broad-band and short-period seismometers. The dataloggers should provide accurate gps based time-stamping of recorded data, rsync capability for manual backloading of data, seedlink data streaming and capability of local storage in 24-hour SeisComp Data Struc
