Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of a potential forthcoming procurement for the provision of independent external audit services to maintain its ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified management systems. This PIN is issued for pre-procurement market engagement purposes only and does not constitute a call for competition. The objectives of this PIN are to: -Notify the market of SRUC’s anticipated requirement -Engage with suitably qualified certification bodies -Obtain market feedback on delivery models, audit approaches and pricing structures -Support SRUC in developing a proportionate and effective procurement strategy. No procurement documentation is available at this stage Lot 1: The anticipated scope may include: -Surveillance audits -Recertification audits -Certification transfer arrangements (if required) -Multi-site audit capability across SRUC locations -Remote and/or blended audit delivery where appropriate Minimum Provider Expectations (Indicative) SRUC anticipates that providers will: -Hold UKAS accreditation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification audits -Demonstrate relevant experience auditing public sector, education, or research-based organisations -Maintain independence and impartiality in line with ISO certification requirements These expectations are indicative and may be refined following engagement. Market Engagement SRUC intends to undertake soft-market testing via a virtual supplier engagement session.
