Peatland Restoration - Dalnacardoch West

Proposed Peatland restoration on Dalnacardoch Estate Lot 1: This project is the first phase of a programme of peatland restoration to restore six areas of peatland at Dalnacardoch Estate (Perthshire), four to the West of the Edendon and two smaller areas in the North of the estate. These six areas of peatland cover a total of 523 hectares. This first phase covers a gross area of 192 hectares. A range of restoration techniques are proposed to treat drains; hagg and gully erosion; bare peat; and micro-erosion. This notice is published on behalf of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust which is restoring Dalnacardoch Estate. Please see SoR for all detail relating to this opportunity.
