Supply, Installation and Laundering of Barrier Matting

Falkirk Council wishes to tender for the Supply, Installation and Laundering of Barrier Matting. Falkirk Council currently has barrier matting installed within a number of its Schools, Council Offices and Residential Properties. Lot 1: The Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a suitably qualified contractor to provide an ongoing service to supply, install and launder barrier matting. The successful contractor will be required to: a)Install suitably sized barrier matting within all locations listed within the Appendix A - Pricing Schedule. b)Uplift, replace and launder all barrier matting at the frequency stipulated within the Appendix A - Pricing Schedule. The service should be provided within 5 working days of the scheduled timescale, at a pre-arranged date and time agreed with the contact noted for each location within the Pricing Schedule. c)Hold an electronic master register of all barrier matting in place across the Council which identifies: - Site location - Mat size and type - Launder date d)Provide, when required, an emergency 24-hour response to uplift, replace and launder matting where unavoidable and unacceptable contamination has occurred out with the normal laundering schedule frequency. e)Comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements while operatives are installing and replacing barrier matting.
