Description

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is initiating pre‑market engagement in advance of the forthcoming procurement of its Physical Pharmacy Services. This early engagement phase is designed to open a constructive dialogue with the market, enabling the Authority to better understand current provider capability, innovative delivery models, and opportunities to enhance pharmacy support across its Physical Health services. The Trust delivers a wide range of community‑based and inpatient physical healthcare services across Gloucestershire, and is seeking insight from experienced providers who can contribute to the development of a modern, resilient, and patient‑centred pharmacy model. By engaging early, the Authority aims to shape a future tender that reflects both operational needs and the evolving landscape of pharmacy practice. As part of this process, the Authority is inviting feedback on key elements of the future tender, including the draft service specification, Key Performance Indicators, and the award criteria. Insights gathered will help refine the final procurement documentation and ensure that the tender reflects a clear, deliverable, and outcomes‑focused service model. The Trust will contact all suppliers who participated once the pre‑market engagement has closed, to arrange a supplier feedback meeting. We expect these meetings to take place before 1 May 2026.
