Description

The purpose of the consultation is to contribute to the development and maintenance of scientific applications for operational oceanography by providing pre-processing of input data, validation of analyses and forecasts, post-processing of analyses and forecasts and production of oceanographic information. The aim of lot 1 is to contribute to the development and optimisation of software for the pre-processing of input data from the various operational systems (including ATD-F) so that the products are available on time for users and according to the constraints imposed by CMEMS. The aim of lot 2 is to contribute to the development of post-processing software for the validation of Mercator Ocean analyses and forecasts and the optimisation of existing software (TEP_CLASS4, TEP_BUL) so that products are available on time for users and according to the constraints imposed by CMEMS. The aim of lot 3 is to contribute to the development and optimisation of the existing software for the production of the GREP for multi-model global oceanic reanalyses so that the products are available on time for users and according to the constraints imposed by CMEMS. The aim of lot 4 is to contribute to the development and optimisation of the algorithms for calculating the key CMEMS ocean indicators so that the ocean state report and the indicator products are available on time for users and according to the constraints imposed by CMEMS. The aim of lot 5 is to contribute to the development and optimisation of the existing production system of the global ocean indicators (based on the existing tool, or replacing the current tool known as TEP_BCG) so that the products are available on time for users and according to the constraints imposed by CMEMS.
