Description

Acquisition of three (3) Runway De-icers including Initial Spare Parts Packages and Training and an option for three (3) additional Runway De-icers including Initial Spare Parts Packages. Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) has a need for three (3) Runway De-icers including Initial Spare Parts Packages and Training to be used during the winter to prevent buildup of ice on the taxi- and runways at three (3) Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) airbases. The Runway De-icers shall distribute deicing liquid AVIFORM L50, and they shall be delivered ready to be attached to RDAF Mercedes 1831 tractor units and shall support integration of the De-icer controls in the cabin of all tractor units. Furthermore DALO wishes to include an option for three (3) additional Runway De-icers including Initial Spare Parts Packages. The three (3) airbases are located in Jutland: Aalborg, 2,6 km runway, Karup, 3,0 km runway, Skrydstrup, 3,0 km runway. The runways are de-iced in the period from approximately October 1st to April 1st, and whenever risk of icing conditions are present.
