Description
Cumbria County Council (hereafter referred to as the Authority) is committed to continue to improve services for children and young people with the ambition of achieving positive outcomes for all young people. The Authority has a statutory duty to provide Short Breaks for children with disabilities and is therefore commissioning a ‘Targeted Short Breaks Activities Service’ to deliver Short Breaks to eligible children and young people. Lot 1: North: Out of school and weekend Activities (term time or full year) Weekly clubs such as sport, craft and Activity clubs for young people to meet and socialise. Lot 1: South: Out of school and weekend Activities (term time or full year) Weekly clubs such as sport, craft and Activity clubs for young people to meet and socialise. Lot 1: West: Out of school and weekend Activities (term time or full year) Weekly clubs such as sport, craft and Activity clubs for young people to meet and socialise. Lot 2: North: Holiday Activities May include family fun days, where Service Providers offer inclusive Activities for disabled young people and their whole family. One off day trips, adventure Activities or regular holiday clubs. Lot 2: South: Holiday Activities May include family fun days, where Service Providers offer inclusive Activities for disabled young people and their whole family. One off day trips, adventure Activities or regular holiday clubs. Lot 2: West: Holiday Activities May include family fun days, where Service Providers offer inclusive Activities for disabled young people and their whole family. One off day trips, adventure Activities or regular holiday clubs. Lot 3: North: School holiday Activities in Cumbrian Special Schools May include family fun days, where Service Providers offer inclusive Activities for disabled young people and their whole family. One off day trips, adventure Activities or regular holiday clubs. These Activities would be available to any eligible child, not only those who attend the school Lot 3: South: School holiday Activities in Cumbrian Special Schools May include family fun days, where Service Providers offer inclusive Activities for disabled young people and their whole family.
