Residential Textiles, Student Starter Packs and Window Coverings

NWUPC is establishing a multi-provider Framework Agreement for members of APUC,CPC,HEPCW,LUPC,NEUPC,NWUPC & SUPC for Residential Textiles,Starter Packs & Window Coverings. The Agreement was tendered in 29 lots as follows: Lot 1-Bedding and Bathroom Textiles and Associated Student Accommodation Products Lot 2-Kitchen Starter Packs and Associated Kitchenware Lots 3-29 Supply, installation, and maintenance of Window Coverings [regional]. In accordance with the intention stated in section 1.3.8 of the ITT,some of lots 3-29 will be combined as the evaluation has produced a result in which the same group of economic operators have been awarded to several lots. Lots 3-29 will become lots 3-5: Lot 3-Window Coverings Scotland Lot 4-Window Coverings Northern Ireland Lot 5-Window Coverings England and Wales The Agreement will commence on 1st March 2022 for 24 months until 29th February 2024 with the option to extend the Agreement for two periods of 12 months until 28th February 2026 Lot 1: Lot 1: Bedding and Bathroom Textiles and Associated Student Accommodation Products This lot will provide a compliant route for bedding and bathroom textiles for use in student residential accommodation & conferencing settings. Suppliers will be required, on a national basis, to supply, the following in a variety of fabrics and sizes: Bedding Textiles not limited to bedlinen & bedding packs; duvets, pillows, mattress and bedding protectors, blankets. Bathroom Textiles inc towels, face cloths, bathmats, and shower curtains; along with other associated accommodation products. Lot 2: Lot 2: Kitchen Starter Packs and Associated Kitchenware This lot will provide a compliant route for kitchen starter packs and associated kitchenware for use in student residential accommodation & conferencing settings. Suppliers will be required, on a national basis, to supply, the following items both in packs & individually: Cooking aids inc but not limited to pans, boards, sheets, glassware, stoneware, ceramicware, knives, utensils. and storage. Diningware including but not limited to cutlery, crockery, glass and plastic tableware. Kitchen linen. Lot 3: Lot 3: Window Coverings Scotland Supply only and supply & installation of a range of curtains and blinds inc but not limited to roller, venetian, & vertical blinds; black out, dim out, lined & non-lined curtains; and window films. Products will be provided in both occupied and unoccupied areas of a member institution’s estate including but not limited to student, residential and commercial accommodation, teaching areas including lecture theatres, offices, reception areas, corridors, and stairways. Lot 3 Window Coverings Scotland is a combination of the originally advertised Lots 3-6 covering individual regions of Scotland In accordance with the intention stated in section 1.3.8 of the ITT, these lots were combined as the evaluation produced a result in which the same group of suppliers were awarded to Lots 3-6 Lot 4: Lot 4: Window Coverings Northern Ireland Supply only and supply & installation of a range of curtains and blinds inc but not limited to roller, venetian, & vertical blinds; black out, dim out, lined & non-lined curtains; and window films. Products will be provided in both occupied and unoccupied areas of a member institution’s estate including but not limited to student, residential and commercial accommodation, teaching areas including lecture theatres, offices, reception areas, corridors, and stairways. Lot 4 was originally advertised as Lot 7. The scope and geographic coverage remain as previously advertised. The change of name from Lot 7 Window Coverings Northern Ireland to Lot 4 Window Coverings Northern Ireland is the result of the combining of other regional lots for the supply of window coverings as detailed in this notice. Lot 5: Lot 5: Window Coverings England and Wales Supply only and supply & installation of a range of curtains and blinds inc but not limited to roller, venetian, & vertical blinds; black out, dim out, lined & non-lined curtains; and window films. Products will be provided in both occupied and unoccupied areas of a member institution’s estate including but not limited to student, residential and commercial accommodation, teaching areas including lecture theatres, offices, reception areas, corridors, and stairways.
