Description

A consortium of three research projects involving the Geological Survey Ireland (CHERISH project), University College Dublin (ACCLIMATIZE project) and Dublin City University (PREDICT project) (hereafter termed “the Client”) are seeking tenders for LiDAR data acquisition and processed LiDAR data. The extent of the areas to be surveyed (hereafter termed the “Survey Areas”) are shown in Figure 1 below with a focus on the intertidal area, particularly the low intertidal area. As such, data acquisition within the Survey Areas would need to coincide with water below a pre-determined point (i.e. acquired during low spring low tides). The Survey Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the most recent edition of the Admiralty Tide Tables necessary for carrying out the works. The Survey Areas are within Dublin Airport controlled airspace.
