Description

The Norwegian Railway Authority hereby invites tenderers to participate in a tender contest for project management assistance for the organising possible implementation of charges for financing Norwegian railways. The assignment is expected to be from March 2018 until October 2019. The Norwegian Railway Authority was in the award letter for 2017, assigned to implement a possibly implementation of charges for financing Norwegian railways. The report “Gebyr på jernbane” [Fees for railway] was submitted the Ministry of Transport and Communications 1.11.2017. The Railway Authority will continuing the work with facilitating fees for railways and is preparing and assignment regarding the preparation of new regulations for the financing scheme. The Railway Authority shall solve the assignment by appoint a project that shall elucidate and support solutions which facilitate implementation of a fees scheme.
