Description

TII has a requirement for a contractor to carry out site investigations in order to provide information in respect of existing underground utilities (services) to inform the Preliminary Design and Environmental Impact Assessment for the MetroLink project. The non-intrusive underground utility investigations shall be carried out to the PAS 128:2014 Survey Level B1P and to a detection method of M1P, M2P, M3P and M4P. A combination of manhole inspection, Electro Magnetic Location (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is to be used to complete the non-intrusive utility mapping survey of all underground services. Other survey technologies can be used subject to Investigation Supervisor’s approval. Due to the volume of the investigations required it is proposed to award the works in three lots.
