Exemplar New Homes

Description

In support of Eden District Council declaring a climate emergency combined with the objective to develop sustainable housing to meet local needs, the Council wishes to undertake a pilot sustainable housing project. The pilot project is to incorporate the building of between three and five housing units to at least passive house standards. The homes would be for sale at an affordable price point. It is intended for the development to build confidence in both the practical feasibility of developing to these standards and market demand for the product to support Zero Carbon Eden. It is intended that the returns on the capital investment could be recycled in future projects. Eden District Council is seeking bids from suitably qualified and experienced consultants/company to assist the Council to project manage the Exemplar New Homes Project.
