Description

Appointment of an Environmental Consulting Engineer to provide specialist environmental engineering advice to Kilkenny County Council for the proposed re-development of the former Smithwicks Brewery Site in Kilkenny City. Kilkenny County Council requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Consulting Engineer to implement a programme of ground water monitoring on the former brewery site over a period of 3 years and undertake soil sampling throughout the site in conjunction with the proposed archaeological test excavations on the site. The data gained from this sampling and testing will be used to inform proposals for the proposed redevelopment of the site. The consulting engineer will be required to advise Kilkenny County Council and Kilkenny Abbey Quarter Development Limited in relation to the environmental issues specific to the site to be considered in relation to the proposed redevelopment of the site.
