Direct Award for the Supply & Delivery of Industrial Gases under the ESPO Framework Liquified Petroleum Gas & Other Liquified Fuels 92_21

Description

The Council’s Community and Enterprise Resources, Roads and Transportation Services have an ongoing requirement to procure various industrial gases for use in general maintenance activities within Roads and Transportation Services and heating purposes throughout Council owned buildings with the majority of the spend being Roads and Transportation Services. The Council’s Procurement Service has identified a suitable and accessible Framework as follows: Eastern Shire Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) Liquified Petroleum & Other Liquified Fuels Framework, 92_21. OJEU Reference Number: 2021/S 000-017337 Framework Period: 22 October 2021 until 21 October 2023. There is an extension option available at 2 x 12 months which takes the framework up until 21 October 2025. South Lanarkshire Council awarded a call-off contract by Direct Award under the ESPO Framework noted in section II.1.4 per the pre-defined selection procedure under the framework to Calor Gas Ltd as they were the highest ranked supplier within the Framework Agreement based on Most Economically Advantageous Tender and meeting the Council's requirements. The call-off contract period is from 19 April 2022 – 31 March 2023 with an optional extension period of up to 12 months.
